This 1979 5513 Rolex Submariner is one of the hottest watches that many collectors are seeking right now. This is a very rare 5513 with the very desirable matte black 'Maxi' dial having oversized markers that almost touch the minute markers. This dial has become very sought after of late, due to its simplicity, clean lines and classic design - along with those oversized markers.

Many dealers are incorrectly labeling their watches as 'Maxi' dials - so, be careful. These dials only appeared around 1978/1979.

As with all of my watches, this is complete with its original Rolex Guarantee certificate, booklets, translation papers and inner & outer boxes. The caliber 1520, hacking, automatic winding movement was recently serviced by Rolex (service paper included) and is keeping time very well.

This is an investment grade wristwatch that will only appreciate in value over time and way cooler on your wrist than getting half a percent in the bank.
